As one of the senior statesmen (faculty), I have been affiliated with University for 35+ years. The functional areas of instruction revolve around both economics and the quantitative decisional sciences (statistics, finance, and research). Over my years of instruction I have undertaken many activities to bring proactive learning experiences to the students. Those have consisted of: serving as a consultant for the regional viticulture (wine) industry, consultant to several utility cooperatives within the Arkansas/Oklahoma area, serving as an expert witness for economic matters before the courts and state regulatory agencies (PSC), and working with small business ventures, financial institutions, & the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) concerning business plans (startups). My focus in life is to treat students holistically by reinforcing positive attributes and by assisting them in building effective relationships to foster their vocational endeavors. Outside interests consist of golf, hunting, fishing, camping and supervising a 1,000 acre cattle operation.
