The Department of Education announced a further delay to release batches of FAFSA information (ISIRs) to schools until the first half of March.
Despite this, Ozarks is aiming to roll out financial aid packages within two weeks of receiving FAFSA information.

U of O Enactus team shines at national competition

The University of the Ozarks' Enactus team advanced to the quarterfinals last week in the 2014 Enactus United States National Exposition in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The U of O Enactus team advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2014 Enactus United States National Exposition in Cincinnati, Ohio, last week.

More than 300 teams from across the country took part in the national competition. The Ozarks Enactus team completed 12 service projects and 746 hours of community service throughout the previous year, reaching 10 countries and more than 32,000 individuals.  

"Our team’s presentation was amazing and the judges shared with the team their excitement about the positive impact their projects had," said Enactus advisor and Business Professor Dr. Rickey Casey. "The team that won in our league in the quarterfinals ultimately  took first place at the competition. The University of the Ozarks team made a positive difference in the local  and international community.   "

The Ozarks team earned a trophy for advancing to the quarterfinals and  also received recognition for  placing as a finalist in the Wal-Mart Women Entrepreneurship Grant.

"U of O Enactus has developed a culture of teamwork and dedication, fueled by our passion to give back to the community," said Enactus President Jose O’Connor. "It is an honor to be part of such a distinctive team that motivates individuals and offers them the necessary tools to succeed. I’m so proud of my Enactus team. Their hard work and dedication was the key to success in the competitions. I wouldn’t trade them for any other team."
