The 28th volume of Falstaff, titled "Candy Coated," was published last week, and this edition featured striking cover photography by Chloe Chrimes, a senior marketing major from Highland Village, Texas.

Falstaff, Ozarks’ annual literary magazine, features poetry, prose, photography and artwork from across campus. Each year, awards are given to the best in each category.
Stephen Kennedy, a theatre major from Bella Vista, Ark. won best in poetry for his three-part poem, "Whole." Best in prose went to Rikki Runyun, an English major from McGehee, Ark, for her short story, "Ain’t No Different." Chelsey Becker, a business and art major from Claremore, Okla., won best in artwork for her drawing, "On the Run." Heather Hall, a biology major from Claremore, Okla., won best in photography for "Rock Formation."
In addition to these awards, special recognition was given to Chrimes for her selection as the cover artist with her digital photography submission, "Sprinkles."
"My inspiration came from my giant sweet tooth," Chrimes said. "I love candy, all types of candy, so I loved that this year’s Falstaff theme was created around candy. I thought that was just sweet bliss. I had no idea my photo had been chosen for the cover until the annual awards ceremony. When I heard my name called for Falstaff and then for the cover, I was shocked. It is such an honor to receive this award."
