Clarksville, Ark. --- The Children of the World International Children's Choir will perform at University of the Ozarks at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 2, as part of the university's 2006-2007 Walton Arts & Ideas Series.

The performance will take place in the Walton Fine Arts Center on the Clarksville campus. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the door on the evening of the performance or by calling 479-979-1346. Sponsored by World Help, the Children of the World International Children’s Choir is made up of approximately 15 orphaned and disadvantaged children from countries around the world. These children represent thousands of children in World Help’s Child Sponsorship Program as well as throughout the world who suffer hardship, hunger and disease. The choir seeks to generate compassion and inspire individuals to help change the world one child at a time. The inspiring one-hour concert will feature songs in English and native dialects, personal testimonies and video presentations. The choir, which is in the midst of a 10-month tour, has performed throughout the world.
